Hi, I'm Nicole!

 

My love of creativity, photos, and capturing moments in time runs through my veins. Working in the corporate world for 20 years in a vastly different industry, I am ready to have something I call my own. This allows me to have a creative outlet, which keeps me challenged and allows me to chase a different kind of dopamine than running or Soul Cycle.

 

High Tide at 38th, based on the place I love to call home (Manhattan Beach CA) is a photography and creative services business dedicated to capturing the essence of special moments for small businesses, families, pet owners, and architectural design. I am obsessed over delivering high-quality representation for whatever it is you are looking to capture.

 

As I start out my journey, throughout the 2025 year, I'll be taking projects/assignments through friends/family referral only. This will allow me the flexibility to practice my passion without the pressure of public service. I'll also be able to charge a very nominal fee as compared to established professionals, while I build out my portfolio.

Lastly, I do use state of the art equipment for both taking the photos (I have an incredible camera and equally as awesome versatile lens), and editing the photos (Adobe suite - all of the things!). And while those things are very important, they will only get you 90% there. That last 10% of harnessing your moment will be me and my brain behind the camera - capturing the perfect shot.
